New Features and Release Notes:

  • Responsive Web Portal. The old non responsive web portal is maintained as legacy to not break the compatibility.
  • New statistics bundle “StatsUIBundle“, installed by default, it shows information about the statistics of the visualization of videos and series.
  • Support for auto-publisher users. The auto-publisher users can only edit their own multimedia objects (designed to allow the professors to administrate their own videos).
  • Support for permission profiles, used to restrict access to different sections of the administration site. For example, a profile can be created to be used only to administrate live channels.
  • Paella player (and other players) in PuMuKIT. Modular system to use other video players in PuMuKIT. By default, JWPlayer is being included but an additional bundle  “PaellaPlayerBundle” developed by TELTEK to use Paella player with PuMuKIT is already available.
  • Improved CAS and LDAP integration as SSO system and for users provisioning.
  • New access profile to restrict video visualization only to users with an account in the system.
  • New external bundle “VideoEditorBundle” that allows the non destructive edition of the videos and adding of time marks to chapters (Chapter marking).
  • Improvements to the documentation and minor bug fixing.
